I have a request from a gentleman for five lap quilts to be made from his deceased wife's robes to give to his nieces for Christmas.  This is a very touching and thoughtful way for the nieces to have something of their Aunt's to remember her by. 

All of the squares have been cut for each lap cover.  Each cover will have 90 squares.  Not all squares are on this photo.

All five lap cover tops are sewn together.  The name of each niece will be embroidered on her
'Special' lap cover.  Left is Mary Ann's...Right is Linda's.

Each lap cover will be trimmed with a different bright color.
