My
next "Special" order is a quilt created using clothes from two deceased
grandmothers who died within several months of each other. The daughter
and daughter-in-law wants a quilt for her daughter. It will be a very
"Special" memory quilt of many colors and fabrics. I now have all the clothes cut into squares. Next I will lay out the squares as my customer requested: every other square to be a bluejean square. Come visit often to see the progress of this very "Special" Memory Quilt. |

| Forwarded my layout of Grandmothers' fabrics Memory Quilt to my customer. She told me I used too much of one Grandmother's fabrics and not enough of the other Grandmother's fabric. She will let me know which fabrics she wants me to use. | |

I suggested adding lace and
she commented that neither Grandmother wore or cared that much for
lace so she would rather not use lace although it was very
pretty. Come visit my "Special Orders" section again to see the
progress of this very 'Special' Two Grandmothers' Memory Quilt.

| My customer approved the 2nd layout and chose dark blue ties. She also requested blue gingham for the back. This should make a very pretty 'Memory' quilt. I will now sew the top together, then hand-tie the quilt and the last step is to hand-hem the quilt. Page 2 Special Orders | |
