I then laid out the squares as to her specifications and scanned photos to her.
She said, "Yes".

I knew the quilt would not be a double size as she wanted so I began looking at
what fabric and lace I had left and decided on this border (below). Since she
left the border hem and back up to me I decided the quilt looked so sweet it
needed a soft pink fleece back and violet trim. When I sent her scanned photos
she was very excited and couldn't wait for her Aunt's quilt to be completed.
